Jonathan Lee Raleigh was born in Dallas, Texas on December 20, 1985 to Charles Lee Raleigh and Brenda Patricia Raleigh. Jonathan passed away on October 18, 2015 doing one of the many things he loved.

As a child, he was always full of life. He began his love of the great outdoors and sports from a very young age. While attending Dallas Christian Academy, he began establishing many lifelong friendships and excelled in all of his extra curricular activities. One of his favorites was playing football, where he was All-District Defensive End his senior year. Jonathan graduated with Honors and 26 college credit hours, and then began his college education at Texas A&M University in College Station. He enjoyed volunteering as a Little League coach and participating in the Big Brothers program. Jonathan became a licensed Realtor in 2007 while attending Texas A&M. In recent years, he enjoyed his experience and successes with Ebby Halliday Realtors. He was a top producing Realtor and achieved Platinum status in 2014, excelling in both commercial and residential real estate. He had great ambition to start his own real estate company and had nearly completed obtaining his Broker's license.

He lived every day to the fullest – enjoying his many hobbies, family, and friends. Jonathan's favorites included: Enduro Dirt Bike riding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, golfing, hunting, poker, surfing, fishing, archery, scuba diving, world travels, horses, baseball, football, mountain climbing, sky diving, Tough Mudders, ranch work with his father and anything else he could share with his family and friends.

He was a truly captivating person – extremely positive, joyful, and uplifting to everyone. After spending a short period of time with Jonathan, you instantly wanted more time with him. He was a bright light to his family and his many friends with his big smile and big heart. He was adored by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He was fiercely loyal, caring, thoughtful, diligent, ambitious, trustworthy, faithful, and a total sweetheart. He was a beautiful person inside and out. He recently married the love of his life, Chelsea Braman whom he met while attending Texas A&M. They have loved each other since the day they met, ten years ago. He was so excited about embarking on one of his greatest and newest adventures by starting a family with his beloved wife. Jonathan lived a passionate life always doing the things that matter most, sharing good times, love, and laughter with his family and friends, creating memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Jonathan is survived by his wife, Chelsea Braman Raleigh; mother, Brenda Raleigh; father, Charles Raleigh; stepmother, Cameron Raleigh; sister, Rebecca Raleigh Bohac; neice, Reese Bohac; brother in law, Bradley Bohac; stepsister, Megan Turner; aunt, Janet Ralston and cousins Mathew and Jacob Ralston; and grandfather, Charles Stevenson; and his beloved pet and buddy, Ryder, his boxer.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, October 23, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A service to celebrate Jonathan's life will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Northway Christian Church, 7202 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas. The church is located directly across from Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
