Richard "Ritchie" Barrett, the rock 'n' roll producer and songwriter who founded Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers, The Chantels, Little Anthony and the Imperials, and The Three Degrees, died August 3, 2006 at Pennsylvania Hospital.
The New York Daily News said he was apparently 73, but never admitted his age.
