She was a daughter of the late Bennett Cooper and Ella (Page) Grider and the wife of the late Arlis J. Turner, who died on Dec. 25, 1955. She is survived by a son and daughter-ln-law, Ronnie and Linda Turner of Gainesville, GA, a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Rick Fisher, Stafford, TX, five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a teacher in the Monroe County school system for 32 years, a substitute rural mail carrier and a member of the Tompkinsville Church of Christ.
