Williamsport - NEAL SUMMERS MYERS, 77, of 20 S. Vermont St., died at his home Sunday afternoon after an extended illness. He was born in Williamsport, the son of William Holly and Mary Elizabeth Miller Myers.

He was a employed as a maintenance supervisor at the W.D. Byron Tannery for 37 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church, Medairy Lodge No. 140, A.F.&A.M., the Tall Cedars of Lebanon No. 95, Hagerstown, the Williamsport Volunteer Fire Co. and the Williamsport Ambulance Club.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Grimes Myers; one son, Ernest G. Myers, Dillsburg, Pa.; and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Horn, Fayetteville, Pa.; and Mrs. Della Worthington, Williamsport; two brothers, Charles Myers, Hagerstown; and Jacob Myers, Williamsport; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at the resisdence; burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery; the Medairy Lodge held Masonic memorial services at the residence.
