Funeral services were held at 3 p. m. Tuesday in the Totten Funeral Home Chapel with Sid Mallory, minister of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park cemetery.
Pallbearers were L. G McLaughlin, Richard Clark, Jr., Harry Preston, W. H. Hickey, Melvin Pace, C. G. Marshall, John Bryan and Jack Parr.
Mrs. Stone was born in Lamar county, July 4, 1893, and moved to Electra in 1951 where her husband was manager of the Electra Country Club until his recent retirement.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Miss Willie Stone of Dallas and Mrs. Betty Jo Aulds of Columbus, Ga.; one son Jerry, of Frederick, Okla.; one brother, Sam Nowell of Paris, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Wayne Baker of Fullbright, Texas, and Mrs Bonnie Phillips of Hobbs, N. M.; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild._
