Hazel Mae (Holt) Brown, 88, of La Grange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Care Inn of La Grange.
Hazel was born in Garfield, Texas on January 26, 1927, the daughter of Victor and Annie (Boatright) Holt.
She is survived by five daughters: Wilma Jean King of Gonzales, Texas; Bertha Morris of Cameron, Texas; Diane Ried and husband, Ronnie, of La Grange, Texas; Joyce Puritt and husband, David, of Cameron, Texas; and Judy Riley and husband, Ron, of Thrall, Texas; son, Steve William and wife, Vickie McCarty, of La Grange, Texas; sister, Betty Krueger of Corpus Christi, Texas; twenty-seven grandchildren; seventy-four great grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George McCarty; five brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Haynie Chapel Cemetery, Garfield, Texas.
