From Bonnie Shirley Amery:[
This day, November 14, 2018, is a red-letter day for me.
In a conversation about ancestors with Judy Rose (Mrs. Stewart Rose),
I learned what newly wed, Judy Rose, had overhead the "Old Timers" discussing.
The Rose Family members were discussing the burial wishes of Eliza (Winn) Rose-Anderson. They were clear in the understanding that Eliza wanted to be buried beside her first husband and child. They also were very clear about the burial wishes of Eliza's second husband, John Anderson Powers. He wanted to be buried beside his first wife.

November 11, 2019, received a wonderful email from findagrave contributor, John Gavin,Fl, with the following new information: "This is evidence that Jack is descended from the same Powers family as my Major Powers. It is likely that Lewis Powers is Jack's grandfather and Lewis is probably the cousin of my ancestor. Major Powers. (who also had a son named John W Powers)."
