A former Oshkosh resident, Robert J. Hassett, 60, Campbellsport, was pronounced dead on arrival Monday at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

He was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Helen Hassett, and came to Oshkosh as a child. He married Betty Friedrich, Feb. 21, 1942, in Oshkosh.

Mr. Hassett served in the Air Force during World War II and then was an agent for Mutual of Omaha. He had resided in Campbellsport for the past four years.

Surviving are his widow; three daughters, Mrs. H.J. (Susan) Kraemer, Hollywood, Fla., Mrs. Ronald (Kathy) Henley, Milwaukee, and Mrs. "Michael (Cindy) Sinclair, Memphis, Tenn.; four sons, Robert, Mount Pleasant, Mich., Mark, San Diego, Calif., Jeff, Jackson, and Tim, Cedarburg; and four grandchildren.

There will be no services. Cremation was today, with inurnment in Lake View Memorial Park. Marquardt Oregon Street Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
