While the inscription on her plaque states a death date of 8 October 1907, she actually died on 8 October 1909, as evidenced by her obituary published on 16 October 1909 in the Catholic News, Port of Spain, and an account of her funeral published in the Port of Spain Gazette on 10 October 1909.
