MINFORD - Charles A. Lykins, 85, of Minford, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Born October 22, 1930 in Scioto County, a son of the late Herbert and Ada Mae (Day) Lykins, he was the former owner and operator of General Heating & Air Conditioning, and was member of Candy Run United Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Geneva C. (Horsley) Lykins; a daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Jim Mullins of Columbus; granddaughter, Kim Mullins of Hilliard; 2 great- grandchildren, Mariah and Trey, of Grove City; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Lowell and Donna Lykins of Canal Winchester, Delbert and Jewell Lykins of Grove City, Gary and Libby Lykins, of Valdese, North Carolina; Don and Sandy Lykins of Lucasville; two sisters, Virginia Porter of Pataskala, Diana Robertson of Minford; many friends, nieces, nephews and his buddy, Phoebe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Elders David Thompson and Arvil Murray officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
