Mrs. Lillian Millsaps, age 89, passed away early Saturday morning February 13, 2016 at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley, MS. The family will receive friends at a catered reception on Sunday February 14, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Kimbro Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Monday February 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Kimbro Funeral Home Chapel with the Interment to follow at Carey Springs Cemetery in Pontotoc, MS.
Mrs. Millsaps was the retired owner of Lillian's Beauty Shop in Marks and attended Crowder Baptist Church in Crowder, MS.
Mrs. Millsaps is survived by her four nieces, Dianne (Jerry) Clark of Batesville, MS., Gladys Thomsen of Crowder, MS., Lynn Bell of Crowder, MS., Barbara (Butch) Green of Sarah, MS., two nephews, Bubba Bell of Lambert, MS., Ricky (Martha) Bell of Sarah, MS. A special friend, William Johnson of Batesville, MS. also survives Mrs. Millsaps. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Millsaps, her parents Ethel & Katie Simmerman, one niece Betty Green, eight sisters and six brothers also preceed Mrs. Millsaps.
