A native of Union County, he was son of Robert S. Grogan of Buffalo and the late Hazel Stevens Grogan.
He was a member of Putman Baptist Church and was employed with Union Butterfield of Gaffney. He was a graduate of Spartanburg Technical College.
Surviving are his wife, Annette Burgess Grogan; a stepdaughter, Debbie Norton of Buffalo; a stepson, Gene Revis of Buffalo; two sisters, Nancy Childers of Buffalo and Dianne Groves of Jonesville; five step-grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews. T
he family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home in Union. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Putman Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Donald Tillman. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the home after visitation, where it will remain until the hour of service.
