Mrs. Ann Young Anderson, age 63, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, September 29, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 6 years, John L. Anderson, Buford, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Didi and Paul Wright, Weatherford, TX. Angela Wellmaker, Snellville, GA; grandchildren, Adam Patterson, Kacey Patterson, Jennifer Stacy, Ryan Stacy and wife Abigail, Caleb Wellmaker; great granddaughter, Kailyn Stacy; father, Calvin C. Young, Vernon, TX; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Marie Anderson, Winston, GA. Mrs. Anderson was born in Vernon, TX on August 2, 1943. She was a graduate of Vernon High School, Vernon, TX. She attended Texas Wesleyan College where she studied music. She was a very accomplished pianist and vocalist. She was employed by Merle Norman Cosmetic Corporation as a Regional Business Consultant, Los Angeles, CA, where she helped train and open new Merle Norman Studios for many business owners. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment and graveside service will be held at Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Oakway Community, Westminster, SC at 3:00pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Embracing Hospice, 3180 Presidential Drive, Suite G, Atlanta, GA 30340 in memory of Dorothy Ann Anderson.
