Mrs. Rosie Angeline Mink, age 72 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at her home. She was born in Luner, KY on Dec. 8, 1938 the daughter of Lando and Susie Caroline Mink Cromer. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and traveling, and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Mink; three sons, Ronnie Mink (Donna), Randy Mink, and Lloyd Mink, Jr. (Balinda), all of Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Linda Sue Winkler (Cledith) and Betty Miller, both of Brodhead, and Melbia Moore (James) of Mt. Vernon; three brothers, William Logan Bullock of Versailles, Glen Denver Cromer of Brodhead, and Bobby Cromer of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Edith Alcorn and Etta Chaney, both of Mt. Vernon; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her step-mother, Elsie Cromer of Mt. Vernon; a special nephew, Billy Alcorn of Mt. Vernon; and her special dog "Charlie". She was preceded in death by her parents.
