Burial is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Noble was a Franklin County native, World War II Army veteran, a retired Schenley Distillery employee as cook and member of Buck Run Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Nannie Elizabeth Clark Updike, Frankfort; a son, Larry Noble Updike, Frankfort; a sister, Mrs. Nannie Clark, Frankfort; two grandchildren. He was the son of the late John and Laura Shannon Updike. The Rev. Dan Crawley and the Rev. John Charles will officiate.
