Veteran Employe Of General Mills Taken By Death
Roy A. Morgan, a veteran employe of General Mills, died Saturday night in a local hospital after an extended illness. He was 63.
Mr. Morgan was a maintenance load man at the Lodi General Mills plant, since the plant opened here 15 years ago. He had been employed with General Mills for 33 years, and came here with the company from Portland, Ore. He was a member of the American Federation of Grain Millers, and of the General Mills 25-Year Club.
He was a veteran of World War I, and attended the First Methodist Church. He made his home at 1107 Woodrow St. Mr. Morgan was a native of Peton, Ore.
He was the husband of Mrs. Lila Morgan, Lodi, and brother of Mrs. Earl F. Smith, Salem, Ore., and Jesse L. Morgan and Mrs. George Scism, both of Portland, and uncle of M.L. Barnett, Seaside, Ore.
