CAROLYN R. ADAMS (nee McVean), aged 92.
Carolyn was born in Lakewood, Ohio to Dr. John A. and Caroline (Hoffman) McVean.
She was a graduate of Lourdes Academy.
For 52 years she was the beloved wife of Louis N. Adams (deceased in 1998).
Carolyn was also the loving mother of three sons: David J. of Moreland Hills, J. Nicholas (wife Gale) of MI, and Thomas R. of Euclid. She was the devoted grandmother to Jacob and Jess, beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her brothers John, Paul, and Howard, and sisters Alice and Martha (Sr. Carolyn McVean, HHM).
For more than 30 years Carolyn was the office manager for the practice of Dr. Thomas J. Barrett, and later Drs. Barrett and Sternen.
She was a long-time member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in South Euclid. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110 or Mt. St. Joseph Nursing Facility, 21800 Chardon Rd., Euclid, OH 44117.
