She was born the daughter of Albert Feezell and Gertrude Bennett Feezell. She married David L. Hunt on October 10, 1953, at Ft. Scott.
In earlier years, she had worked for Key Work Clothes and later as head cook for Ft. Scott public schools and then for the Ft. Scott Community College. She later retired from the Western Insurance Company where she had worked in the coding department. Following her retirement, Hildred enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grandson, Brian. She enjoyed cooking and served as cook for church camp meetings for many years. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden as well as fishing. She faithfully attended the Parkway Church of God (Holiness).
Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; her daughter, Terri Crum and husband, Jesse, of Ft. Scott; her grandson, Brian Crum and wife, Amanda Beth, of Centerton, Arkansas; and three great-grandchildren Logan, Madilyn and Lilian. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Wayne, John and Bill Feezell and seven sisters, Oma Dill, Maude Gates, Maye Wright, Dorothy McConnell, Beulah Wright, Opal McConnell and Leo Wilson Brown.
