MANNOR, CARL E. 6/19/1927 - 9/24/2014 Age 87, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 surrounded by his loved ones and Heartland Hospice Care. Carl was a World War II Veteran, serving proudly in the United States Navy. He retired from Airmaster as a maintenance engineer. His first love was (pitching) fast pitch softball, which he played for 50 years. He had a heart of gold. He has six children: Sandy (Roscoe), Alan Carl (deceased), Debbie (Carl), Carol (Randy), Julie (Ken), and Randy; four stepchildren: Sharyn (deceased), Steve, Sue (Randy), and Scott (Melissa); 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, LaVerne Mannor, Ted (Janice) Mannor, Theola (Les) Curey, and Janet (Jerry) Wright. He will be missed and loved by many relatives and friends. Services with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, October 4, 1 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Front Chapel, 1425 N. Elm Ave., Jackson, MI 49201. Donations can be sent to Heartland, Jackson, MI.
