BREMEN - Mary Joan Knepp, 84, of Bremen, IN passed away at 5:16 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 in her home. She was born on June 29, 1931 in South Bend, IN to the late Zeno and Mary (Hoover) Miller. On July 2, 1950 in North Liberty, IN, she was united in marriage to Richard J. Knepp.

Mrs. Knepp is survived by her husband, Richard J. Knepp; two daughters, Carol S. Knepp of Bremen, IN and Deb L. (Clyde) Cartwright of Plymouth, IN; two grandchildren, Rebecca (Merle) Ramsey and Clyde Cartwright, Jr.; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jean Roberts of Hoffman Estates, IL and brother, Marvin Miller of CA.

Mrs. Knepp was a lifelong area resident. She worked as a bookkeeper at 1st Source Bank, retiring in 1994 after forty years of service. She was a member of County Line Brethren Church.

Graveside services will be held on June 2, 2016 at Fair Cemetery, North Liberty, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 1-2 pm at Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St., Lakeville, IN 46536.
