Mrs. Neely Dies at 92. Mrs. Louise Lipscomb Neely, 92, sister of two former presidents of David Lipscomb College, died yesterday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. L. P. Thweat, 270 Lynwood Blvd. Services will be at 3 PM tomorrow at Granny White Church of Christ. L. Dan Harless and Charles Chumley will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. THE BODY is at the home of Mrs. Thweat. Finley Dorris and Charlton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Two of her late brothers, Horace and A. B. Lipscomb, served as presidents of David Lipscomb during the 1920's. Her father, Granville Lipscomb, and David Lipscomb, founder of the college, were half brothers. Her father and David Lipscomb owned adjoining farms which are now part of the college campus. A NATIVE of Beans Creek, Tenn., Mrs. Neely was a daughter of Granville and Mary Swift Lipscomb. She attended Price's College for Young Ladies near Nashville in 1897. She was married to the late David Edward Neely, who died in 1917. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Neely taught and served as librarian at David Lipscomb Elementary School for about five years. She was a member of Granny White Church of Christ. SURVIVORS, in addition to Mrs. Thweatt, include six other daughters, Mrs. Boos Richter, McMinnville, Tenn., Mrs. Sydney Glass, Murfreesboro, and Mrs. Claude Creel, Mrs. Rosseau Cullum, Mrs. Dan Harless and And Mrs. Ronald Gregory, all of Nashville; a brother Perry Lipscomb, Oklahoma City, Okla, 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. The family asked that those wishing to send flowers make donations instead to the Tennessee Orphans Home at Springhill,Tenn.
