LEHI, Utah — John Henry Andrews of Lehi went to his eternal reward on Feb. 2, 2014. John was born Aug. 20, 1930, one of four children to George and Gertrude Andrews. John was raised in LeClaire, where he graduated high school and went to college at North Central Bible College in Minneapolis. He is survived by his beloved spouse of 62 years, Frances Fern; his sisters, Mary Hirl and Alice Tucker, (one sister, Lela Marquette, predeceased him); four children, John, married to Becky; Debra, married to David Lang; Marilyn, married to Charles Aiken, and Curtis, (one son, Philip, died in infancy), 16 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren (with one on the way.)

John and Fern raised their children in Iowa and then moved to Utah, where John worked as a Realtor and was known as “Honest John." He was a veteran of the Korean War.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising and riding mountain horses, camping, hiking, and even a little caving.

John gave his heart to Jesus as a teenager and shared his faith throughout his life as a Sunday school teacher, deacon in his church, neighbor, hunting and fishing guide, parent and grandparent.

John loved listening to gospel music and playing games with his children and grandchildren.
