Robert Charles Martini, age 90, of Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Martini was a WWII Navy veteran and former maintenance worker for the City of Newport. He was a member of St. Mary Parish, Alexandria, KY and a loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Karrick Martini in 2009. He is survived by his two daughters, Ruth Ann (Jim) Smith and Jeanette (Jim) Knochelmann; three brothers, Paul, Carl (Angie), and Joe (Juanita) Martini; sister, Rose Weinheimer; also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at St. Mary Parish, 8246 E Main St, Alexandria, KY 41001, on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 9:00am to 10:45am with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11:00am. Interment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas, KY. Memorial donations are suggested to: St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017.
