He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Fay Alder. He is survived by cousins, Harold Marking of Louisville, and Charles, Anthony, Arthur and Joseph Marking, Bernadette Fife, Alberta Wagner, Bertha Zabel, Mary Didat, Rita Schueler, Ruth Houghton, and Kathleen Stewart, of Indiana. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Hwy., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Friday.
