Alice M. Morreau, 78, passed away Tuesday morning, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility where she resided for the past two years with Alzheimer's disease. Before she went to Pinecrest, she had been in the loving care of Emmons Adult Foster Care.

She was the daughter of Louis A. and Clara E. (Wyss) Aggen.

As a young child, Alice's family moved to Carney where she was raised and graduated from Stephenson High School in 1948.

On Aug. 16, 1952, the former Alice Aggen married Donald Phillip Morreau at Salem Lutheran Church in Escanaba. He preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 1994.

Alice was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was a member of Escanaba Free Lutheran Church and T.O.P.S.

Alice was a hard-worker, who often defined herself as a stubborn German. She loved to hunt, play bingo, go on walks, do crossword puzzles, play games, and go to Tommy's with the morning coffee gang.

(Terry) Carlson; grandchildren, Rick, Rob, and Brian Ekberg, Brigitte Beauvais, Megan Waukkuri, Jeff Duchaine, Heather Nelson, Amber Morreau, Danielle, Kevin, Jaymelee Carlson; great-grandchildren, Emily Beauvais, Gabrielle Beauvais, Halle Mae Wakkuri, and Devin Ekberg; brother, Robert (Mitzi) Aggen; and sister, Ruth Dupont.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, who died at birth; a sister, Evelyn Schroeder; and brothers, Louis "Sonny" Aggen and Kenneth Aggen.

Visitation at the Crawford Funeral Home with the funeral service with Pastor Bob Derheim officiating. Burial in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
