ESTEP, Katherine Vanderpool Age 84 of Centerville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 31 ,2006. She was born May 9,1922 to the late Jacob Bee and Prudence (Patrick) Vanderpool. She was retired from Local 801 at General Motors, after her retirement she worked at St. Leonard's in the Nutrition Department, was a Poll worker for the Montgomery Co. Board of Elections and was known as the "Vegetable Lady" on Clyo Rd. Also preceding her in death was her grandson Joshua Estep, 7 brothers Malcolm, Paul, Roy, Enoch, Aaron, Vernon and Bert Vanderpool, 2 sisters Flora Arnett & Leora Hopkins. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Ivan Day Estep, son Dana and wife Janet Estep; grandchildren Joanna and Robin; brother Randolph Vanderpool and 2 sisters .Afton Coletta & Phyllis Arnett. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the SANNER FUNERAL HOME, 800 SO. ALEX RD., WEST CARROLLTON. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm.
