Son of: (Father) Daniel Stover: Sargent in the War of 1812 in Colonel Wear's First Regiment East Tennessee Volenteers. Donated land for a school in the Siam Valley that served the community for forty years. Daniel was the first school teacher in the area and had the only Bible from which he taught.
