Funeral services for Dorothy Alma Tidwell, 89, of Bon Aqua, were held on Monday, Dec. 10, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church in Bon Aqua with Rev. Bob Hammer officiating. Interment was held at in the New Hope Church Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home. Mrs. Tidwell died on Friday, Dec. 8, 2006 in Horizon Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 25, 1917 in Dickson County. She was a machine operator for Haywood, a division of Genesco Corp. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include sister, Myra Tidwell of Nashville and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dillard F. Tidwell and parents, Archie Tidwell and Bessie Tidwell.
