Marie Supplee Sheble, 89, a civic worker, died Friday at the Bryn Mawr Terrace Nursing Home. She lived in Bryn Mawr.
She was the widow of Jay Howard Sheble and was a board member and president of the former Woman's Hospital and a volunteer worker with the Emergency Aid of Philadelphia. She was a member of the Acorn Club and the Merion Country Club.
Survivors: three grandchildren and a brother, Henderson Supplee Jr.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, chapel of the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church.
