Thelma F. Zinn, age 91, of Hamden, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Hamden Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born September 14, 1925 in Oreton, Ohio to the late Oscar Louis Woodruff and Lola Camp Woodruff. Thelma was a 1943 graduate of Vinton High School. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and reading, but most of all, Thelma loved spending time with her family. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Henry A. Zinn; daughter, Lorraine "Renie" Staten; grandsons, Sean Zinn and Billy Zinn; sister, Lou Bailey; brother, Carroll Woodruff; and one infant brother. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 11 A.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Thelma's name be given to the Hamden Firefighter's Association; P.O. Box 309; Hamden, Ohio 45634.
