Abbott B.Parson,81,of 1264 W.Forest died 8:28 am Sunday Aug. 21, 1983 in Decatur Memorial hospital. Services will be 9:30 am Wednesday in Dawson & Wikoff funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr.Parson was born in Jefferson City,Mo. son of JamesB .and Virginia Parsons. He was a retired barber and a member of First Lutheran church.
He married Geraldine Gray in 1955. Surviving are his wife, son, Gregory, brother Judge James B.Parson of Chicago, sister Mary Waters of Springfield.
One brother and two sisters preceded him indeath.
