George is the son of Jack Roy McKim and Sophie Dotlich Evsnoff. He followed in his grandfather, father, and Uncle’s footsteps and joined the military serving in the army in Vietnam. After the army, George returned to Grand Rapids and married Susan Zaren. To this union two daughters were born; Renee and Sophie. George and Susan eventually divorced. George’s parent’s and paternal grandparents Roy and Clara McKim proceeded him in death. He is buried with his grandparents Roy and Clara McKim, his father Jack Roy McKim, and uncles Edward and Franklin McKim.
