Mrs. Mary Katherine Stewart age 74 of Martins Creek Rd. Murphy passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2016 in the North East Ga. Medical Center. Mrs. Stewart was born on May 1, 1942 in Murphy, NC., the daughter of the late J.E. Henson and the late Florence Sexton Henson. Mary loved gardening, growing flowers and crocheting. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and also a son, Eddie Stewart in 1982 and a sister, Linda Williams in 2014. Mrs. Stewart was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bell View Community Cemetery.
