Thomas P. Fortescue Nov. 1, 1930 – Dec. 22, 2006 Born in Due West, South Carolina on November 1, 1930. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dona, four children: Ron, Patti Whitman (Tom), Gary (Debbie), and Kathy Vinzant (Wayne); nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Brenda McCall (Hoyt) of Easley, South Carolina. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Nettie Sue Fortescue and his brothers Charles and James. He served four years in the Navy before becoming employed by the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, where he retired in 1986 as a Ship Fitter General Foreman after 35 years. The family would like to thank Group Health Hospice for the excellent care and support over the last few months. At the request of the family there will be no services. Tom will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. Remembrances can be made to Group Health Hospice in his name. He will be missed by his friends and family.
