Brewer, Jesse F. Son of Jesse W. and Julie (Poe) Brewer, died unexpectedly on November 28 at 6:46 a.m. at the U of M hospital, at the age of 37 years due to health problems. Jesse was born Sept. 29, 1979 in Jackson and went to Northwest High School. While growing up he attended Pleasant Lake Bible Church where he gave his heart to the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was baptized. There was always something special about Jesse that made you want to hug him or scold him for being overly kind and generous. He was always eager to help those in need and take in those that did not have a place to stay. Those who knew him stated that "he was a fine young man with a ever forgiving, kind-hearted spirit, who was always willing to lend a hand even though his health said 'no'. He also had that special knack for making a wonderful tasty dish for others to enjoy. Reunited in death with his dad, Jesse W. Brewer, grandparents, Franklin and Carol Poe, and aunt Sissy Mead. He is survived by his mother, Julie Brewer, brother, John Michael, and sisters, Chrissy Damaron, and Laura Brewer. Also surviving are dear friends, Patricia and Robert Butts. Visitation will be from 12 - 2 pm at East Jackson Church of Nazarene, 5549 Ann Arbor Road, Jackson on Saturday, Dec. 3. Funeral services immediately following visitation at 2 p.m. Burial at 3:30 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery in Stockbridge.
