Marilyn was raised in El Dorado, Kansas. She received her education in El Dorado, Kansas as well. She then moved from El Dorado and married her previous husband, Murrel Aaroe. They made their home in Wichita, Kansas, raising their family there. Marilyn worked as a nanny to numerous children after raising her own children. Marilyn was also very active in working in the deaf ministry and touched many lives through using this ministry for Jesus Christ. Marilyn was very proud and active member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians and passed this heritage to her children. Marilyn moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1994 where she made her home until her death. Marilyn is survived by five children, four daughters, and one son, Richard Douglas Aaroe and wife, Brenda of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Teri Jo Aaroe, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Robin Cleaveland and her husband Kirk, of Towanda,Kansas, Sherry (Aaroe). She is survived by seven grandchildren, Amanda Porter Bell and her husband Erik, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Jennifer Anderson, of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Calvin Duncan and his wife, of Stanway, Washington, Anthony Duncan and his wife, of Stanway, Washington, Phillip Geis, of Wichita, Kansas, Janella Little, of Towanda, Kansas and Adria Little, of Towanda, Kansas, six great grandsons and two great granddaughters. She is survived by two sisters, Dianna Britting, of McPherson, Kansas, and Suzie Kiddoo, of Wichita, Kansas and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Helen Broadbent-Love, of Benson, Arizona and one daughter, Terry Little, of Towanda, Kansas.
