Mrs. Buehler completed life on Friday, January 12, 2007 at The Fairfax, Fort Belvoir, VA. She was born in New Bedford, MA, on June 9, 1926, the daughter of Jean Baptiste and Elizabeth Lavoie (nee Levasseur). As a military spouse, Doris traveled throughout the world, yet spent the majority of her years in the Washington, DC, area. She thoroughly enjoyed many hobbies including Ikebana, the theater, and museums. Doris was especially proud of her family and is survived by her loving husband, Colonel Norman C. Buehler, USAF Ret.; four children and their spouses, Conrad (Diane), Michele (Robert) Lewis, Robert (Sue), and CaroleAnne (Gerald) Szylobryt, and eight grandchildren. In addition, Doris is survived by three brothers, Normand, Jean Paul, and Christian.
