Funeral will be at 2:30pm today at Morgan Chapel for Foster N "Brother" Long, 79, Western Avenue, Gadsden, who died Sunday, April 24, 1994. The Revs Ernest Campbell and Max Campbell will officiate. Burial in Rainbow Memorial Park. Morgan Funeral Chapel is in charge.

Mr Long was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Attalla. He was retired from L & N Railroad.

He is survived by his wife, Avis J Long, Gadsden; daughter Elaine L (Larry) Thompson, Gadsden; son, Wayne (Pat) Long, Attalla; sisters, Louise Kline and Jeanette Simpson, both of Attalla; grandchildren, Joana Thompson, Barry (Wendy) Long, Scott (Tammi) Long, Bruce (Lisa) Long, Kelly (Jeff) Ford and Kim (Robert) McMullins; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Drs Stephen James and Chaihan Korn and Mr Holly Heard.
