Albert G. Debold a 50-year resident of Monroe, NY, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Schervier Pavilion, in Warwick, NY. He was 81 years old. Son of the late Leroy and Lena Barreras Debold, he was born June 24, 1932 in New York, NY. He was a retired Accountant for the Town of Monroe, was a member of Knights of Columbus #2079, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Div. 1, Monroe, NY, a member of Holy Name Society and a Daily Communicant with Sacred Heart Church of Monroe. Albert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Lindenwald during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife: Kathleen P. Devlin Debold and his sons: Shaun J. Debold and his wife Patricia of Mansfield, MA; Christopher G. Debold and his wife Briege of Monroe, NY; Michael P. Debold of Middletown, NY; his brother Franklin Debold; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by his son, Kevin Debold, his brother, George Debold, and sisters, Dorothy Carolan and Joyce Roth.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, January 5, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, January 6 at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe. Interment with military honors will follow in Seamanville Cemetery, 400 Spring Street, Monroe, NY.
