Sabrina Lane Duim, age 22, was a senior at Stanford University. Her teachers described her as a student who was close to perfection. She attended St. Margaret's Episcopal School for 16 years, graduating in 2003, at the top of her class where she delivered the valedictory address at commencement. At Stanford she excelled and continued her career as a harpist. She toured with the band Bright Eyes and recorded many albums. At SMES she was a National Merit Scholar, scoring a perfect 1600 on the SAT exam, a Cum Laude Scholar, and a Bank of America Scholar. At Stanford she continued to do research in the field of science, to publish and to make an indelible imprint on the school.
