Betty was the wife of the late Drew Parker. She was the daughter of Lundie Ferguson and Nollie Murray. She was the granddaughter of James Haden Ferguson

Betty Jo Parker, age 85 of Martha, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center. Born September 1, 1931 in Johnson County to the late Lundy Ferguson and Nollie Murray Ferguson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Drue Parker (1987); one son: Billy Ray Parker; two daughters: Barbara Jean Fairchild and Faye Etta Salyer; two brothers: Douglas Ferguson and Russell Ferguson; four sisters: Earlene Lawson, Mary Alka Eldridge, Katherine Ferguson, and Billie Ferguson.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Martha Church of God with burial to follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville. Friends may visit at the church on Sunday after 3 p.m. and all day Monday.
