DIED - JOHN A. McINTYRE
John Alexander McIntyre died at the Holy Cross hospital, Calgary, last Tuesday afternoon, October 8th, at 5 o'clock. He was 45 years of age, and is survived by a wife and three sons, also his mother and two brothers and two sisters, living in Oregon, and two brothers, Peter and Ducan, at Ensign, Alberta, and two sisters, Mrs. E. J. Taylor in Nanton. His death was caused by pneumonia, and he was taken to the hospital two weeks ago.
Mr. McInture came here from Oregon about fourteen years ago, and engaged in farming for a few years. He then rented his land and engaged in the real estate business in Calgary. About five years ago he came back to Nanton and again engaged in farming but he and his family have lived in town.
The funeral was delayed to await the arrival of members of the family from Oregon. Funeral services were held in St. Andrew's hall Friday, Oct. 10.
