John H. Kelly, 93, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, at Grove City, OH. He was born September 15, 1875, at Cherokee, a son of the late Franklin and Emily Ramey Kelly. He was a retired farmer and a member of the United Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Vernie Jenkins, of Edsel, Mrs. Nellie Boggs, California, Mrs. Virgin May, Mrs. Victoria Skaggs, and Miss Sidney Kelly, all of Grove City, OH, Mrs. Viola Foster, Springfield, OH, three sons, Leonard Kelly, Cherokee, Nora Kelly, London, OH, and John Kelly, Grove City, three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Trend, Middletown, OH, Mrs. Martha Kitchen, Portsmouth, OH, and Mrs. Mary Polly, Columbus, OH; one brother, Noah Kelly, Seattle, WA. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 20, from the Young Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Bailey and the Rev. Jarrett Cordle officiating.
