Mrs. Liles Kites A funeral service 1'or Mrs. Ethel B Liles 63, widow of Charles Vernon Liles, who died Sunday of a heart attack at her home, 124 North Centre Street, will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Stein Funeral Home. Rev. Norman O. Scribner, pastor of Centre Street Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Liles, who had been suffer- inf. from a heart condition for some time was a native of this city, a daughter of the late Daniel and would spend Sunday o^- 0 ;-^ with friends, and it was not until she was not seen as usual Monday and yesterday that neighbors and relatives became alarmed. Going to the apartment late yesterday afternoon after failing to 8e t a response to a telephone daughter of te ae ane w Flavilla (Bowden) Frantz. She was her son and a neighbor the last, surviving member of her ***** immediate family.

She was twice married. Her first husband, Edward E. Gunnies, died here in 1927. She was a resident of Erie, Pa., about 15 years but returned to Cumberland shortly alter the death of tier second husband, Charles Vernon Liles, in 19M. Surviving are one son, Eugene T. Gunning, 8 Decatur Street, city editoi of the Cumberland Evening Times, and a grar.dson, Edward E. Gunning, at home.
