He was born in Arcadia, Pa., and had lived in Farrell for 12 years, being employed at the Carnegie-Illinois Steel plant.
He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Solyan, Sr., of Farrell; his wife, Anna; a son, Ronald, a daughter, Dorothy; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Malovich of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Anna Burchek, Helen, Susan and Margaret of Farrell; and seven brothers, George of Pittsburgh, Joseph of Ft. Bragg and Charles, Michael, Nick, John and Paul of Farrell.
He has been removed to Reinsel-Giroski funeral home. Services will be held Thursday.
