Shirley was born to Ora and Besse (Thompson) Weinrich and grew up in Hinton, Iowa.
She was an Elementary Teacher in Omaha Public Schools for many years.
Especially enjoyed playing Bridge, Bunco and Canasta with friends, and was a member and past officer of the Satra Temple Daughter of the Nile.
