Benjamin Franklin Edmund's was born to Thomas G.W. Edmund's and Augusta Fritz in 1860 in Aaronsburg Pa.
The family spelled Edmunds & Edmonds. Most of the children spelling the last name as Edmonds.
Benjamin was a school teacher by age 20.
He married at age 22 to Ellen Stayer or Weaver. They had 6 children together.

Benjamin started out as a teacher, but in his twenty's his occupation was listed as a carpenter, which is quite a switch from teaching.

Benjamin and Ellen divorced and both remarried, Ellen moved to Illinois with four of the children.

Benjamin and Ada Christine Wilkens or Warren, got married in ???. The 1910 census says they had been married for 14 yrs. Inconsistent dates, need to verify.

Benjamin and Ada had 10 living children and 2 that died in infancy.

Benjamin and Ada spent many years living in Millheim Pa. They had five sons and five daughters from 1896-1923. My mother Betty was the youngest. She was just 13 years old when her father passed away at age 76.

Cause of death was Chronic Myocarditis.
