Alexander Ransom Pope, fourth son of Dr. Benjamin Franklin (1843-1902) and Sarah Lee Poston Pope (1849-1902), was born December 31, 1889, at Prescott, Ariz. He was an artist and served in WWI, 1917-19, at Chateau-Thierry and St. Mihiel. He married in 1925, Estelle Jane Brooks (1904-70). They lived in Highland Park, Mi. Their children were Dr. David Alexander (1927-2007) and Bruce Haycraft Pope (b.1931).
