She was a retired employee of Louisville Stoneware, where she had worked 32 years. Mary was raised in the Catholic faith, but became a member at Southeast Christian Church in later years.
Her children stated that she was the “best mother in the whole world”, sacrificing all for them. She was a hard worker, loved all people and was an outstanding cook.
Preceding her in death were her husband Anthony, a daughter Jeanna Marie and a niece Marylee.
Left to cherish her memory include her children, Anthony Gullo, Theresa Gullo-White (Bruce), Franzine Thompson (David), Toby Gullo (Karla) and Mary Frances Gullo-Heil (Steve); grand babies, Justin Gullo, Lawrence Koby Gullo, Katherine and Zayne Heil; her sister, Lillian Satterly (Thomas); two nephews, Sammy and Thomas and a niece Patricia.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 7th at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, followed by burial in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday morning at 10 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
