In the section of Floyd County KY that becomes Pike County, KY, Sally Charles, sister to Frederick, was married 1818 to Harrison Harper. In 1820 sister Peggy Charles marries John King and brother John Charles marries Nancy Thompson. Later census records lists NC as Johns place of birth and VA as Nancys. Pike County marriage records show during the next few years George Jr., David, Frederick and Caty were married.
Frederick married 1st Elizabeth McColley (1808-1853) on May 26, 1825. After Elizabeth died, he married Malinda Elenor McCoy (1784-1853). Daughter of Randall McCoy and Mary McCoy.
According to Pike County tax records George Sr., & Frederick remained on Raccoon Creek. Sons of George Sr., Michael, John and David established homes on Peter Creek.
